When MN governor Mark Dayton approved the budget bill on July 20, 2011, he also approved a reduction in the amount of paperwork and other mandates for MN homeschoolers. See more info here. Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) has yet to add this to their news items, but when it does, we will be sure to post it here for your information. Special thanks to Senator Gen Olson, Representative Mary Kiffmeyer and Representative Sondra Erickson for their hard work and determination in helping to pass this important legislation.
